Privacy Policy

This policy covers pinnaclelabs.uk (“this website”), operated by Rian Banting, trading as Pinnacle Labs (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at hello@pinnaclelabs.uk.

This policy only covers personal data collected through this website. If you become a client, how we handle your business's data as part of delivering a project is agreed separately in writing before any work starts, and isn't covered here.

If you use the contact form on this site, we collect:

• Your answers to the qualifying questions (roughly how big your sales team is, what's costing you the most, and how you currently handle it)
• Your name, email address, and phone number if you give it

If you book a call, that happens through Calendly, which collects your name, email, and time zone directly, under its own privacy policy.

We also capture campaign information from the link you arrived from (for example, which ad or outreach message brought you here), stored in your browser rather than on a server, so we understand which of our own marketing efforts are working.

To respond to your enquiry, prepare for a call, and run our own marketing. Our basis for this is legitimate interest (responding to people who've asked to hear from us) and, for anything non-essential like campaign tracking, your consent via the cookie banner.

We don't use AI or automated decision-making to score, filter, or make any decision about you based on the information you submit through this website. A person reads every enquiry.

Pinnacle Labs builds AI-powered systems for clients as a service. Where that involves processing a client's own business data (their contacts, emails, or CRM records, for example) with AI tools, that's governed by the written agreement for that specific engagement, not by this policy.

We don't sell your data. We use a small number of third-party services to run this site and our business:

• Calendly, for call scheduling (their privacy policy)
• Microsoft 365, to host and send our email

These providers may process data outside the UK. Both are established providers with their own safeguards for international transfers.

We use your browser's local storage to remember your cookie choice and to hold campaign tracking information, and Calendly sets its own cookies when you use the booking widget. You can decline non-essential tracking from the banner shown on your first visit, or clear your browser's storage at any time to reset it.

We keep enquiry details for as long as reasonably needed to respond and follow up, and delete them sooner on request. Campaign data stored in your browser stays until you clear it or it expires naturally.

Under UK GDPR, you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or stop using your personal data, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@pinnaclelabs.uk and we'll deal with it directly. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

We'll update this page if what we collect or how we use it changes, and update the date at the top when we do.
